Toy Story 5 July 10-14 The toys are back in Disney and Pixar’s “Toy Story 5,” and this time it’s Toy meets Tech. Woody (voice of Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (voice of Tim Allen), Jessie (voice of Joan Cusack) and the rest of the gang's jobs are challenged when they come face-to-face with Lilypad (voice of Greta Lee), a brand-new tablet device that arrives with her own disruptive ideas about what is best for their kid, Bonnie. Will playtime ever be the same? “Toy Story 5” is directed by Academy Award winner Andrew Stanton, co-directed by Kenna Harris, produced by Lindsey Collins, p.g.a., and written by Stanton and Harris. The film features an original score by Oscar winner Randy Newman, who returns to score his fifth “Toy Story” feature. “Toy Story 5” releases exclusively in theaters June 19, 2026. Cast: Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Tony Hale, Conan O'Brien, Greta Lee. Rated: PG for some thematic elements and rude humor. Runtime: 102 minutes.
Young Washington July 17-21 Before he was the Father of a Nation, he was a soldier fighting to survive. A single misstep thrusts young George Washington into the center of a global conflict, testing his honor, loyalty, and courage. As alliances crumble and the frontier erupts into war, he must confront not only his enemies but the man he's becoming. This is the untold story of Young Washington. CAST: William Franklyn-Miller, Mia Rodgers, Andy Serkis, Ben Kingsley, Kelsey Grammer. Rated: PG-13 for sequences of strong war violence and some bloody images. Runtime: 125min.
Minions & Monsters July 24-28 The rambunctious, ridiculous and totally true story of how the Minions conquered Hollywood." Set in the 1920s, the film shows how Gru's yellow, pill-shaped henchmen became movie stars, but lost everything. In an effort to get back on the map, the Minions unleash monsters so they can make a new movie. However, when the monsters reveal their true intentions, the Minions need to save the world from the creatures they have created. Cast: Allison Janney, Jeff Bridges, Jesse Eisenberg, Trey Parker, Bobby Moynihan, Phil LaMarr, Zoey Deutsch, Christoph Waltz and George Lucas. Rated: PG for violence/action, language and rude/macabre humor. Runtime: 90 minutes
Yard Sale July 24 & 25 The Liberty Theater's Annual Yard Sale is right around the corner. Funds raised during our yard sale go toward the theater's operations. Odyssey July 31-August 4 Christopher Nolan’s next film, The Odyssey, is a mythic action epic shot across the world using brand new IMAX® film technology. The Odyssey (2026), Christopher Nolan’s epic adaptation of Homer’s classic, follows Greek hero Odysseus on a perilous journey home after the Trojan War, encountering gods, monsters, and treacherous seas while his family faces turmoil in Ithaca. Cast: Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Lupita Nyong'o, Zendaya, Charlize Theron, Robert Pattinson. Rated: R for violence and some language. Runtime is 172 minutes.
MISSOULA CHILDREN'S THEATRE 2026 at The Liberty Theater. This year's show is ALADDIN the week of August 3-8. It is FREE for children going into 1st grade - 12th grade. Registration is required: In-person at the theater Tuesday July 28 and Friday July 31 from 2-5pm OR online starting July 14 at libertytheater.org. Auditions are Monday August 3 at 10:00am with rehearsals all week.
