Missoula Children's Theatre was founded in 1970 by Jim Caron, who still serves as Executive Director. Jim and Music Director Michael McGill supervise the intense training period for the “tour teams” and have created the ten original musicals that are currently touring with thirty-two teams of MCT Tour Actor/Directors -- including the one you are enjoying today.

Your cast auditioned for this show at the beginning of the week and has been rehearsing for just a few short days. We are confident that you will be amazed by what they have accomplished. We are proud to say that nearly 55,000 young people will participate as performers in the Missoula Children's Theatre International Tour Project this season. Nearly 1000 communities in all 50 states, four Canadian provinces and 15 countries will be visited -- communities from Independence, Iowa to Incirlik, Turkey.

Because of the Missoula Children's Theatre's unprecedented growth we have expanded our home-base training facility. Missoula, Montana – a relatively small community – has provided major support, contributing more than five million dollars toward the effort. We are always looking for friends who believe in the value of MCT's efforts and would like to help us find sources of funding to support our programs. Call us today to see how you can help.
